Job Summary
Translate clinical study results, white papers, and publications into audience-appropriate materials for physicians, patients, and payers. Develop and maintain the core clinical messaging platform, including key data claims and evidence summaries, while monitoring the competitive landscape to update the ReActiv8 story. Own strategy and execution for clinical conference engagement, managing podium activity, abstract submissions, and CME programming from concept through accreditation. Partner with research, medical affairs, and field sales teams to ensure messaging is scientifically accurate, compliant, and aligned with evidence gaps encountered in the market. Support the development of reimbursement and market access materials using health economics data. This role bridges Mainstay Medical's research and commercial organizations to advance the ReActiv8® neurostimulation system for chronic low back pain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a life sciences, marketing, communications, or clinical field
- Ability to travel up to 30% a year
- 5+ years of experience in clinical marketing, medical affairs, medical education, or a related function within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and translate clinical data and peer-reviewed literature into clear, accurate, and compelling marketing content
- Experience owning or significantly contributing to clinical conference strategy and execution, including abstract submissions, podium programming, and exhibit management
- Strong understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment governing clinical claims and medical education in the medical device industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to credibly engage both clinical and commercial audiences
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously with attention to detail and consistent follow-through
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH, or clinical credential)
- Familiarity with CME development and accreditation processes (ACCME guidelines)
- Experience in neuromodulation, spine, pain management, or a related specialty
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other marketing/CRM platforms
