Job Summary
Clinical Marketing Manager responsible for translating clinical evidence into actionable programs and materials, building physician engagement plans, and developing tools and content for physicians and sales teams. Responsibilities include creating case study series, competitive toolkits, establishing a KOL speakers bureau, developing podium presentations and symposia at major congresses or virtual platforms, coordinating physician engagement across touchpoints, supporting physician training on product use and patient selection, interfacing with physicians and KOLs, contributing to marketing strategies with product management and sales, managing advisory boards and clinical communications, and monitoring clinical literature in collaboration with medical affairs. Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s in Life Sciences and at least 7 years of clinical experience with 5 years in clinical marketing in medical devices or pharma; oncology background preferred; strong skill set in translating complex clinical data for physician audiences and creating impactful marketing and communication materials; proficient in project management, budget oversight, and PowerPoint storytelling; highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision; Boston-based role with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences
- Minimum 7 years of clinical experience with at least 5 years in clinical marketing in progressive levels at medical device or pharma companies
- Oncology background is preferred
- Very comfortable with complex clinical content—able to understand and articulate clinical data to physician audiences
- Ability to translate complex clinical data into impact
- Proven ability to develop impactful marketing and communication materials and campaigns
- Experience with direct physician and patient marketing programs
- Strong project management and budget-management capabilities
- Excellent PowerPoint/visual storytelling skills
- Ability to collaborate with medical affairs and field teams
- Experience in advisory boards, webinars, symposia, and speaker programs
