Job Summary
Manage customer relationships and streamline the referral process to accelerate time from referral to patient in chair. Optimize referral management and communication using customer systems while proactively resolving issues to ensure strong relationships with Medical Doctors' Offices and internal teams. Develop communication strategies to minimize excessive outreach and review new referral documents to support medical criteria for insurance and administration. Assist intake with welcome calls to patients within 48 hours of referral and answer patient questions. Spend time in the field with the Sales Account Manager to understand market dynamics and foster strong partnerships. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, serving Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree
- Active RN, LPN, or CNS license in the state(s) of practice
- 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service in the healthcare industry
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision
- Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff
