Job Summary
Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to multidisciplinary staff including clinicians, mental health technicians, peer counselors, and care coordinators. Support daily clinical operations across the Whatcom and MARC Triage programs by guiding complex decision-making, overseeing risk assessments, and ensuring services align with regulatory standards. Coordinate staffing adjustments based on program volume and client acuity while monitoring performance indicators for documentation quality and admission flow. Participate in the program's on-call rotation and implement workflow improvements to strengthen cross-site consistency. Requires a Master's degree, active Washington State clinical license, and three to five years of behavioral health experience. Full-time role with medical, dental, and vision insurance at no cost.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or another behavioral health-related field
- Active Washington State associate clinical license
- Minimum of three to five years of experience working in behavioral health services
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical best practices, crisis intervention, risk assessment, care coordination, and behavioral health documentation standards
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including WAC/RCW, DOH, Medicaid, and agency compliance standards
- Ability to provide effective clinical consultation, supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to multidisciplinary staff
- Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, which may or may not include an additional search by DSHS
- Ability to physically participate in managing aggressive behavior from patients
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in crisis services, inpatient behavioral health, triage, or a similar acute care setting
- Prior supervisory, management, or clinical leadership experience
- Experience working with individuals with complex needs and multi-system involvement
