Job Summary
Support the Nurse Director in the safe and effective provision of care for the Acute Rehab Unit by maintaining both management and clinical nurse roles. Oversee the scheduling process to ensure adequate coverage, monitor daily staffing to meet productivity standards, and provide support to staff as needed. Assist with orientation and training of new staff, as well as interviewing and hiring. Serve as director in the director's absence while acting as a mentor, coach, and role model to develop others. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with a Master's degree and CRRN certification preferred. Full-time position with health insurance, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement. Located in Kerrville, TX.

- ACLS
- At least one year clinical experience as a charge nurse

Desired Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing with advanced certification
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN)
- 3-5 years as charge nurse or other leadership experience
