Job Summary
Lead the assigned Specialty Liaison team, managing activities to deliver high-quality patient experiences in specialty clinics. Coach and develop liaison staff through ongoing performance feedback, training, and professional development while instilling organizational culture. Facilitate communication between liaisons, functional groups, pharmacy, and clinic teams to meet operational targets for service, growth, and patient satisfaction. Proactively identify improvement initiatives at health system partners and collaborate with regional leadership on strategic growth, including new clinic launches and workflow changes. Ensure team accountability for critical tasks such as prior authorizations, patient financial assistance, medication refills, appointments, and outreach. Provide coverage for absent liaisons, solve clinic barriers, and create action plans to address performance issues. Partner with data analytics and the Patient Support Center to execute optimization initiatives and provide regular updates to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), RPh or BS in Pharmacy
- Experience as a licensed pharmacist in a healthcare setting
- 5 years working in a healthcare or pharmacy environment with direct patient and clinician contact
- Experience working within a retail, hospital or provider type setting communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Possess strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage the performance of individuals against quantitative metrics without compromising clinical quality
- Patient-centered, organized, high-integrity, motivational, attention to detail, dependable, quality focus, empathetic, good listener/communicator, a good teacher, able to lead a group of individuals
- Energetic, highly motivated, team player with excellent attention to detail; discretion and confidentiality essential as position deals with highly sensitive and private health information

- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management, as well as, navigating the internet and web-based platforms
- Data entry and computer skills will be evaluated through an assessment as part of the pre-employment process
- 50% travel across LA/MS
- Hybrid schedule
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years supervisory/management experience
- Experience working within a retail, hospital or provider type setting communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals (preferably in an outpatient or medical clinic setting)
