Job Summary
Clinical Manager to oversee daily operations of two Mass General Brigham labs (Weymouth and South Weymouth), directing staffing, workflow, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Provide daily management and strategic direction for laboratory services, ensuring readiness for regulatory reviews (CAP, JC, OSHA, CLIA) and coordinating clinical trials with investigators and study teams. Responsible for QA system maintenance, adherence to SOPs and regulatory requirements, staff recruitment, training, and ongoing education in safety, infection control, and compliance. Requires leadership experience in a CLIA-laboratory and ASCP Certified Medical Technologist credential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Sciences required
- ASCP Certified Medical Technologist required
- 5 years of lab experience required
- 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in CLIA laboratory required
- Experience with QA systems, regulatory compliance (CAP/JC/CLIA), health/safety and patient confidentiality
- Interviewing and hiring responsibilities; staff training and education including safety and infection control
