Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Provide guidance and counseling to coordinators and clinical teams to improve home health care services while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and certification. Manage clinical teams, plan staffing based on operational indicators, and evaluate performance of clinicians through annual or more frequent assessments. Hires, evaluates, and terminates personnel; develop skills in evaluating clinicians; and plan in-service education programs to meet training needs. Maintain adequate inventory supplies, oversee patient clinical records and statistics for reporting, and develop orientation programs for new staff. Assist with organization performance evaluations and implement policies to ensure safe delivery of home health services. Promote referrals in the health care community and stay informed about changes in nursing and home health care fields.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current licensure to practice discipline in the state of Minnesota
- Minimum of three years of experience working with people in the second half of life
- Minimum of five years of experience in Hospice
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel
- Experience teaching, training, and evaluating clinical staff
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in customer service/direct client contact field preferred
