Job Summary
Oversee clinical operations and workflow management for Family Medicine practices, delivering exceptional care while maximizing physician and staff satisfaction. Develop policies and procedures in coordination with Department Chiefs, monitor department performance using data, and implement LEAN Six-Sigma processes to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience. Act as a clinical resource and mentor to all staff, manage staffing levels, approve biweekly payroll, and lead root cause analysis for patient complaints. Present for clinical interviews and ensure compliance with State, Federal, and OSHA requirements. Work biweekly with a 40-hour schedule to support InterMed's mission of accessible, reliable, and affordable primary care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in nursing
- At least 2-3 years of people leadership experience
- Active unencumbered State of Maine Registered Nurse license
- Proficiency in MS office applications; Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Proficient in using business intelligence data to drive clinical decisions and proactively monitor the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent professional judgment and decision-making ability
- Proven Leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to foster an enhanced team environment acting as clinical resource and role model to clinical staff
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and plan work independently
- Committed to excellence in customer service and clinical care
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- IBCLC or CLC Lactation programming experience
- Experience in LEAN and/or Six Sigma
