Job Summary
Clinical Manager role supervising clinical staff and overseeing services at designated sites to deliver compliant mental health treatment while promoting client independence and family empowerment. Responsibilities include direct client care (individual, family, and group therapy), discharge planning, referral communications, staff leadership and meetings, collaboration with medical directors and nursing, documentation and QA, utilization reviews, budget adherence, program development, chart audits, community consultations, and handling psychiatric emergencies. Requires Master’s (or Ph.D./Psy.D.) in a related field, licensure eligibility (LCSW/MFT/Clinical Psychologist), at least five years of mental health experience (two post-licensure), strong leadership and communication skills, HIPAA compliance, and a California driver’s license. Location-based on-site roles at Ridgecrest and Tehachapi; compensation $46-$50/hour with full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Licensed LCSW, MFT, or Clinical Psychologist eligible to practice independently; minimum two years licensure preferred
- Minimum five years of experience in inpatient, outpatient, or mental health care settings
- At least two years of post-licensure experience
- Direct clinical, case management, and group leadership experience
- Knowledge of rehabilitation philosophy
- Familiarity with Short Doyle preferred and First Aid Certification may be required
- Strong leadership, clinical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer proficiency
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Valid California driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and proof of education required
