Job Summary
The Clinical Manager for the Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic Operating Room (CVTOR) will lead clinical and administrative efforts, overseeing patient care, financial functions, and team satisfaction, while ensuring compliance with clinical standards. Responsibilities include developing strategies for growth, assisting in budget preparation, establishing policies, collaborating with other managers, and enhancing surgical capabilities. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, with a preference for a Master’s degree, at least five years of relevant experience, and a valid RN license. BLS certification is mandatory, with CNOR certification expected within two years.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Five years of progressive cardiac, vascular, thoracic operating room experience
- Minimum one year in a leadership or Charge RN position
- Registered Nurse in Virginia or multi-state compact RN license
- BLS Certification (American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ - AHA approved)
- Certified Peri-Operative Registered Nurse (CNOR) required within (2) years of hire
