Job Summary
Clinical Licensing Specialist responsible for cross-licensing clinicians and MDs across multiple states, managing end-to-end licensing processes, renewals, and registrations; acts as liaison to state licensing boards; prequalifies licensure eligibility; coordinates background checks and compliance services; educates internal stakeholders on licensing regulations; maintains state-by-state processes to ensure audit readiness; supports CEU tracking and renewal deadlines; role is remote and with a base salary target of $50k-$62k per year for full-time, exempt employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent career experience in healthcare; behavioral healthcare experience is a plus
- Must have experience with clinician or MD licensing in multiple states
- Must have proficient knowledge of TJC Behavioral Health and HIPAA Standards
- 2+ years of experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Possesses proactive mindset and shows strong ability to take initiative
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, consultative style
- Ability to energize, communicate, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Ability to meet goals, document activity and maintain records
