Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in West Columbia, SC. Act as liaison between patients and physicians, assist the physician, and perform nursing duties as directed. Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and staff; document accurately; review charts for next-day appointments; schedule procedures and tests; document patient communications and prescription refills; perform capsule endoscopy and cover for medical assistants in their absence. Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance, ensure recalls are current, and demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, timeliness, organization, and reliability with minimal supervision. Requires active SC LPN license, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or GED; graduate from an accredited nursing program; professional references. Implies full-time, on-site work at a clinical/hospital setting in West Columbia, SC.
Required Qualifications
