Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care to patients and families in a pediatric-focused setting, coordinates with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, assists physicians with clinical procedures, and participates in patient teaching. Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing program and a current New York State license/registration; preferred one year of LPN experience or two years as a medical assistant in a pertinent practice area, with CPR/BLS certification. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with occasional Saturday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. Responsibilities include direct and/or telephone patient care, collaboration with clerical/medical assistants, and handling typical office-based nursing duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- New York State license with current NYS registration, in good standing
