Clinical Lead / Medical Assistant

Job Summary
Conduct patient intake, serve as a medical scribe for documentation, and perform minor surgical procedures including skin biopsies, suture removal, and injections. Prepare specimens for external labs, disinfect exam rooms, and maintain medical instruments per CLIA requirements. Schedule diagnostic tests, facilitate referrals, and relay physician recommendations to patients. Manage inventory, unpack supplies, and perform daily office cleaning and laundry. Act as the on-site clinical lead when the Practice Manager is absent, stepping in to assist behind teams, provide coverage during short-staffing, and serve as a backup clinical preceptor for onboarding. Work Monday and Wednesday mornings in Independence, OH, and Tuesday and Thursday mornings in Mentor, OH.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Certified or Registered MA
- BLS Certification within last two years or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Active CDT certification
- 1-3 years of Medical Assistant/Nurse experience
- Dermatology experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills of exemplary patient care
- Experience with minor surgical procedures
- Demonstrated ability in handling patient confidentiality
- Above average interpersonal skills
