Job Summary
Lead the ER/CCU department by managing a team of RVTs and Veterinary Assistants, overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating with other department managers to optimize patient outcomes and client satisfaction, implementing and maintaining clinical protocols and regulatory compliance, mentoring staff, facilitating training and scheduling, and monitoring payroll and staffing costs. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership through organization, motivation, coaching, and clear, respectful communication, with demonstrated ER/CCU experience and strong software proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of clinical experience in an ER/CCU setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent positive and productive communication skills, both verbally and in writing
