Clinical Lead - Behaviour Support

Job Summary
Lead clinician responsible for supervising and developing a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners, driving onboarding, training, and ongoing clinical development while ensuring service quality, compliance with NDIS requirements and ethical best practices. Deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support plans, manage complex caseloads including individuals with behaviours of concern, and promote clinical excellence within a hybrid, flexible working environment.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant Allied Health degree
- 2 years as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Proficient (or working toward proficient) under the NDIS PBS Capability Framework
- Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to supervise and balance targets and billable hours
- Experience in diverse settings (homes, hospitals, community, prisons)
- WWCC, NDIS Worker Check, RRHAN-EC, NDIS Worker Orientation and New Worker Induction Module
- First-Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Code of Conduct familiarity
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Proficient (or working toward proficient) under the NDIS PBS Capability Framework
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to supervise, mentor, and lead by example
- Deep understanding of Restrictive Practices, the NDIS Practice Standards & NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission guidelines
- Experience supervising teams across diverse settings (homes, hospitals, community, prisons)
- Strong written, verbal and relational communication skills
- Current WWCC, NDIS Worker Check, RRHAN-EC, NDIS Worker Orientation and New Worker Induction module, First-Aid and CPR certifications
