Job Summary
Support assessment processes, outcomes, and panel reviews for children and young people engaged in programs. Lead Allied Health Practitioners in developing Behaviour Support Plans, Safety and Treatment Plans, Functional Capacity Assessments, and clinical reports. Provide consistent supervision and mentoring to foster staff wellbeing and professional growth while offering expert guidance on complex cases. Drive innovation by designing, delivering, and evaluating evidence-based therapeutic programs tailored to unique needs. Provide clinical oversight and leadership, managing a multidisciplinary team, mitigating risks, and embedding best practice interventions. Ensure accountability through clinical governance, incident responses, and regulatory compliance. Contribute to policy development, grant applications, and tender processes. This role involves part-time, 3 to 4 days per week hybrid work for 12 months. Join a not-for-profit organisation providing specialised care for complex trauma-based needs across NSW, WA, QLD, and NT.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Psychologist, Social Worker, Behavioural Specialist Counsellor, Psychotherapist, or Other Allied Health Professional
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working with children and young people with trauma backgrounds
- Membership with a nationally accredited association such as PACFA, ACA, AHPRA, AASW, APA, NDIS Commission
- Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks
- Valid drivers licence
- Working with Children checks
