Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Woodhull - Per Diem

Conduct hematology testing on patient samples and maintain hematology records, quality control programs, and equipment under the direction of the Hematology Supervisor. Organize workflow to facilitate task completion, demonstrate knowledge of the laboratory information system, and perform weekly inventory checks. Aids in training coworkers, new hires, and students during clinical rotations while participating in laboratory in-service and continuing education. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring documentation complies with JC, CAP, NYS, Medicare, Medicaid, and Laboratory Regulations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Biology or Medical Technology and an active NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.
