Job Summary
Toxicology Technologist Trainee responsibilities include determining specimen acceptability, performing routine and complex testing per SOPs, monitoring and troubleshooting instrumentation, making technical testing decisions, preparing and evaluating new reagents or controls, reporting accurate test results to support quality patient care, performing preventive maintenance and quality control, maintaining supplies, assisting with specimen processing, and maintaining a safe work environment with appropriate PPE. The role requires independent and team work, effective communication, and familiarity with laboratory operations and systems; new grads are welcome with full training provided. Additional duties emphasize attention to detail and the ability to handle physical requirements and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
