Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Perdido Freestanding Emergency Dept

Casual/Per Diem Clinical Laboratory Technologist performs routine and complex laboratory procedures in a high-volume clinical setting at the Perdido Freestanding Emergency Department. Responsibilities include determining specimen acceptability, operating and troubleshooting instrumentation, preparing and evaluating reagents/controls, reporting timely results, performing preventive maintenance and quality control, replenishing testing supplies, assisting with specimen processing, and maintaining a safe work environment. Requires a Bachelor’s in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical field, 1+ year of clinical lab testing experience or MLS degree, and Florida Technologist license. ASCP or AMT certification preferred. Works third shift with flexible hours.
