Job Summary
Clinical Laboratory Technologist role performing routine and complex laboratory procedures, operating and troubleshooting instrumentation, evaluating new reagents/controls, and reporting accurate test results to support quality patient care. Responsibilities include determining specimen acceptability, maintaining quality control and preventive maintenance, preparing and testing reagents, replenishing testing supplies, and ensuring a safe work environment with appropriate PPE. Preferred qualifications include ASCP or AMT certification and blood bank experience; requires collaboration with team, familiarity with laboratory information systems, and ability to work overtime or other shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology
- 1 or more years of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree
- 1 or more years of clinical MLS generalist experience
