Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Free Standing Emergency Department

Clinical Laboratory Professional in Navarre, FL responsible for determining specimen acceptability, performing routine and complex testing per SOPs, monitoring and troubleshooting instrumentation, making technical testing decisions, preparing and evaluating new reagents or controls, reporting accurate test results, performing preventive maintenance and quality control, replenishing supplies, assisting with specimen processing, and maintaining a safe work environment with PPE. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical or biological science, Medical Technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science, plus an active Florida Technologist License (MLS acceptable), and 1+ year of lab testing experience or an MLS degree; ASCP or AMT certification preferred. Demonstrates proficiency with lab information systems, strong attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team; must be able to pass a color vision screen and accommodate overtime or other shifts as needed.
