Job Summary
Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Flow Cytometry position at LabCorp in RTP, NC. Responsibilities include determining specimen acceptability per established criteria, performing routine and complex procedures per SOPs, monitoring and troubleshooting instrumentation, making technical testing decisions, preparing and evaluating new reagents/controls, reporting accurate test results to support quality patient care, performing preventive maintenance and quality control, maintaining testing benches with supplies, assisting with specimen processing, and maintaining a safe work environment with proper PPE. Collaboration within a team and ability to work independently are emphasized, along with attention to detail and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
