Job Summary

Conduct laboratory testing, quality control, and phlebotomy while performing instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Serve as a technical resource to Medical Assistants and assist physicians with medical procedures in the office. Draw blood, prepare slides, obtain vital signs, and document patient data in the EMR. Notify physicians of critical lab results and maintain adequate inventory of laboratory supplies. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory agencies, maintain confidentiality of patient information, and complete required training checklists. Work at any Company location as needed and complete overtime when given sufficient notice.

Required Qualifications

  • A.A. or A.S. degree
  • Technician License in state of required
  • Minimum of two years experience in the healthcare field
  • Must maintain FL MLT license
  • Must maintain required CEUs
  • Must be able to perform compliance testing
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be able to work at any Company location
  • Must be able to work overtime when given sufficient notice
  • Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with patients and families
