Job Summary
Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for determining specimen acceptability, performing routine and complex technical procedures, monitoring and troubleshooting instrumentation, making technical testing decisions, preparing and evaluating reagents, reporting accurate results, maintaining quality control and safety, assisting with specimen processing, and ensuring a safe work environment in a high-volume lab setting. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a chemical/biological science or Medical Technology, at least 1 year of clinical lab testing experience (or MLS), and familiarity with laboratory information systems; ASCP or AMT certification preferred; candidate must be able to pass a color blindness test and be flexible to overtime or varied shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology
- 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree
- ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
