Clinical Laboratory Technologist - Core Lab

Technologist for Core Lab performing specimen acceptability, routine and complex testing according to departmental SOPs; monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation; make technical decisions regarding testing; prepare, test and evaluate new reagents/controls; report accurate, timely test results to support quality patient care; perform preventive maintenance and QC procedures; identify and replenish testing bench supplies; assist with specimen processing; maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE; requires a Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or an MLS degree; 1+ year of clinical lab testing experience (or MLS); ASCP or AMT certification preferred; ability to work in a high-volume lab, independently and in a team, with attention to detail, strong communication and organizational skills; color blindness testing required; flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, stock purchase plan; Labcorp is an equal opportunity employer.
