Job Summary
Technologist in Core Chemistry performing routine and complex laboratory procedures, operating and troubleshooting instrumentation, and preparing/evaluating reagents. Responsible for reporting accurate test results to support quality patient care, maintaining quality control and safety standards, and assisting with specimen processing as needed. Requires Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science or Medical Technology, 1+ year of clinical lab testing experience or an MLS, and preferred ASCP/AMT certification. Candidates should be able to work a Tuesday–Saturday night shift in a high-volume lab, be proficient with laboratory information systems, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and teamwork in a collaborative environment. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 for external candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree
