Job Summary
Perform chemistry tests requiring independent judgment with minimal supervision, adhering to infection control, safety, and patient privacy protocols. Accession specimens into the LIS, process samples, and document results accurately in the Laboratory Computer System while maintaining quality control procedures and instrument calibrations. Troubleshoot instrumentation issues, monitor environmental conditions, and report critical results to medical staff. Ensure test systems remain within acceptable performance levels by correcting deviations or notifying supervisors immediately.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year Chemistry Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience
- Must have Roche Experience
- Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist issued by NYSED
- Primary Source Verification required
- Malpractice Insurance - active individual Medical Malpractice
- Shift Times: 4 pm -12 am or 12 am- 8 am
- Adhere to company guidelines regarding COVID compliance
