Job Summary
Perform specimen acceptability, conduct routine and complex technical procedures per SOPs, monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation, make technical testing decisions, prepare and evaluate reagents/controls, report accurate test results for quality patient care, conduct maintenance and quality control, replenish testing supplies, assist with specimen processing, and uphold safety and PPE; requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science, ASCP certification, and 1+ year of clinical lab experience; position at Labcorp UT Knoxville Medical Center with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience OR an MLS degree
- ASCP certification
