Clinical Laboratory Team Lead - Hematology

Job Summary
Lead and assist with day-to-day operations of the clinical laboratory hematology department; supervise and train staff; manage production reports and communications to management; ensure specimen acceptability; perform and oversee routine and complex procedures per SOPs; monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation; prepare and evaluate reagents/controls; report accurate test results; conduct preventive maintenance and quality control; manage supplies; maintain safe work environment and PPE; flexible to overtime or other shifts; requires Bachelor's degree in a chemical/biological science or related field, minimum 4 years technologist experience, and preferred ASCP/AMT certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
- Minimum 4 years or more of experience as a Technologist
- ASCP and/or AMT Certifications (preferred)
- 6 months or more of supervisory or leadership experience
