Job Summary
Performs CLIA moderate and high complexity laboratory testing across hematology, chemistry, blood bank, microbiology, coagulation, serology, and molecular diagnostics; performs, evaluates, troubleshoots, records quality control, calibrations, and validations on test assays; maintains and troubleshoots laboratory instrumentation; validates and interprets data, and reports results to physicians; performs specimen collection and handling; contributes to QA and QI projects and trains new staff; HIPAA compliant; requires 3 years in a CLIA high complexity lab and applicable MLS/MT certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years in a CLIA high complexity laboratory
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by ASCP OR Medical Technologist (MT) by AMT OR MT by ASCP certification
- English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
