Clinical Laboratory Scientist III - Laboratory

Independently perform diagnostic laboratory tests, including venipunctures and capillary draws, to support disease diagnosis and treatment. Execute quality control checks, troubleshoot instrument malfunctions, and maintain equipment per manufacturer recommendations. Orient and train new staff, bench personnel, and students on procedures and theory while participating in continuing education. Assist with phlebotomy, specimen processing, and requisition checks as needed. Adhere to all hospital safety requirements and resolve system issues before reporting patient results. Requires an AS degree with four years of experience or a Bachelor's with two years, plus ASCP certification within one year.
