Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Full-Time, Day Shift)

Prioritize and perform a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests on biological specimens, including chemistry, coagulation, hematology, and bacteriology. Conduct proper specimen collection, labeling, handling, and storage while ensuring patient identification and adhering to HIPAA confidentiality guidelines. Review, evaluate, and document test results, correlating data with diagnoses and expediting critical values to clinicians. Supervise laboratory assistants and clerks, perform equipment maintenance, and participate in performance improvement evaluations. Requires a Bachelor's degree in medical technology, a valid CA CLS license, and preference for ASCP certification. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Delano.
