Job Summary
Lead and coordinate national phlebotomy services within a clinical laboratory setting, overseeing the documentation, collection, processing, testing, and shipping of patient samples; train and coach phlebotomy staff; ensure safety and infection-control protocols; perform blood draws and collect other specimens; manage inventory and quality control procedures; maintain compliance with state phlebotomy requirements; communicate with national staff and resolve phlebotomy-related issues; stay updated on techniques and technologies in phlebotomy; travel nationally with company expense reimbursement; work from home with periodic travel to the Independence Office.
Required Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant science/laboratory field is required
