Job Summary
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1500-2330 with weekends and other shifts as needed. Conduct group and one-on-one training sessions for new employees, existing employees, and students; develop and implement standardized training programs; monitor trainee progress and competency; ensure staff attendance at mandatory compliance, quality, and training sessions; may travel with occasional overnight stays; may perform/enter results for waived/moderate complexity tests depending on location; act as subject matter expert representing the department in cross-departmental meetings and policy development; support a career ladder promotions program and maintain competency records. This role requires high school or equivalent education, training experience in adult education or equivalent, immunization requirements, and willingness to travel as needed, with flexible scheduling including weekends and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years directly relevant experience within TriCore Reference Laboratories OR One (1) year directly relevant experience within TriCore Reference Laboratories plus completion of relevant education such as a Bachelor or Associate degree OR Three (3) years directly relevant experience elsewhere
- ASCP phlebotomy certification or qualified phlebotomy certificate if training at Sandia National Labs location
- Basic PC competency
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Effective communication and organizational skills
