Job Summary
Clinical Lab Technologist responsible for collecting, receiving, and processing specimens; performing clinical testing across multiple automated and manual systems; conducting QC/QA procedures; maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory instruments; participating in external quality controls (CAP proficiencies); maintaining documentation; demonstrating phlebotomy competency across age groups; validating and correlating equipment; communicating critical values to providers and colleagues; working across Blood Bank, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology/PCR, Urinalysis, and Receiving/Processing; providing operational support to optimize workflow; and working weekends, overnight, and holiday shifts. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology (MT), Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), or Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) OR a Bachelor’s degree in a field related to medical laboratory science along with a Certificate in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), or Medical Technology (MT), as recognized by the NAACLS.
