Job Summary
Clinical Laboratory Scientist II position with CareDx in Brisbane, CA. Responsibilities include handling and processing patient samples, analyzing test results, preparing reports, documenting QC activities, maintaining PHI confidentiality, troubleshooting and problem escalation, identifying test-system deviations and implementing corrective actions, training and competency testing for staff, drafting SOPs, representing the reference lab program in cross-group interactions, and supporting proficiency testing and quality control. Requires California CLS license, a BS/BA in biology-related science, and at least 6 years of high-complexity clinical lab experience. Shift is Wednesday-Saturday 7:00PM-5:30AM with shift differential; base salary range $60K-$65K plus benefits and potential bonuses. Strong emphasis on compliance with local/state/federal regulations, data integrity, and professional collaboration within CareDx.”,
Required Qualifications
- Held California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license
- Education: BS/BA in a biology-related science
- Experience: At least 6 years of experience performing high-complexity testing in a clinical laboratory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated analytical skills with databases and Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in molecular testing techniques (PCR, real-time PCR) highly desirable
- Experience in immunology, microbiology or related fields preferred
