Job Summary
Clinical Lab Scientist I – Core Lab on the Night shift performs laboratory analyses on blood and body fluids using a variety of instruments to aid diagnosis and treatment, with responsibilities spanning hematology, coagulation, immunohematology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, molecular biology, histopathology, and POCT; requires a 4-year college degree and California CLS licensure, and typically 1 year of clinical laboratory experience. The role aligns with CAP-accredited core laboratory and AABB transfusion service operations within a pediatric healthcare network.
Required Qualifications
- Education: College Degree - 4 year
- Licenses and Certifications: CLS - Clinical Lab Scientist License - CDPH - California Department of Public Health (required)
- Work Experience: Minimum one (1) year Clinical laboratory (full-time) (preferred)
- Consistent with State of California CLS Licensure requirements (required)
