Job Summary
Coordinate, plan, and monitor laboratory work while documenting results and maintaining quality control and calibration functions. Perform and supervise laboratory collection and processing procedures, ensure adequate staff training, and maintain the work area. Assist the manager with budget management. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Hospital Technology, five years of experience as an MT/MLS/CLS/HTL, and current licensure as a Registered MT or HTL. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year MT or HTL program approved a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent
- Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988
- 5 years of experience as MT/MLS/CLS/HTL
- Registered MT (ASCP/AMT) or HTL (ASCP/AMT) or equivalent
