Job Summary
The Clinical IT Specialist is responsible for supporting and analyzing clinical IT requirements, implementing clinical process changes across departments, and providing application and hardware support. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve efficiency and patient care delivery. Key responsibilities include managing clinical workflows, mentoring staff, and maintaining clinical competency. Ideal candidates should possess clinical experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with three years clinical experience
- Diploma/associates degree with 2 years clinical experience
- Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement principles
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Maintain clinical competency by meeting ongoing clinical hour requirements

- EHR experience in ambulatory environment

Additional Requirements
