Job Summary
Procurement and inventory management of dental supplies and equipment for the CDM Oral Health Center. Source, evaluate, and purchase dental supplies, instruments, and equipment; maintain vendor relationships; process purchase orders and track shipments; maintain accurate inventory levels; implement inventory control systems; conduct audits; perform minor repairs on dental equipment; coordinate with facilities for major repairs; ensure regulatory and safety standards (OSHA, ADS); maintain documentation (MSDS); support infection control; collaborate with faculty, clinic staff, and administration; participate in committees; assist in equipment evaluation and budgeting.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge typically obtained by a high school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management (healthcare or dental setting preferred)
- Basic mechanical aptitude with demonstrated ability to perform minor repair on dental or medical equipment
- Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software
