Job Summary
Interns will provide auxiliary clinical services to adolescent clients in the milieu setting under the supervision of the house therapist and clinical supervisor. Responsibilities include collaborating with the treatment team, attending home visits, conducting documentation (ITPs, MHAs, staffing notes, court summaries), developing and applying coping strategies (grounding, deep breathing) in real-world settings, building clinical resources and group curricula, and participating in trainings. The internship offers flexible hours (~24 hours per week) and emphasizes learning to support clients within a therapeutic home environment; placement is unpaid.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Level program in social work or counseling
- Interest in clinical treatment services for adolescents
- Previous experience with youth populations preferred
- Must be 21 years of age to intern
- Unpaid internship
