Job Summary
Observe individual, group, and family therapy sessions, including co-facilitation and intake processes. Attend lectures, meetings, and trainings on clinical processes and primary/family schedules. Participate in multi-disciplinary team observations and assist aftercare staff in planning discharge and post-discharge activities. Review documentation such as treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure compliance with facility policies. Converse in English via telephone to process information, maintain confidentiality, and coordinate projects while recording meeting minutes. Communicate with staff regarding patient safety concerns and work independently or collaboratively as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in process of obtaining a Masters Degree in a Behavioral Health or related field that leads to a career in Counseling, Social Work or Human Services.
- Ability to converse in English with others to give, take and process information; extensive use of telephone.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, multi-task, coordinate projects and record/transcribe general and specific meeting minutes.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Communicate with other staff to relay concerns and observations involving patient safety.
- Must submit to and pass a substance abuse screen following an offer of employment and prior to reporting to work.
