Job Summary
Conduct individual, group, and family therapy observations while attending lectures, meetings, and trainings on clinical processes. Observe the multi-disciplinary treatment team, intake procedures, and aftercare staff during discharge planning and post-discharge activities. Review documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure compliance with facility policies. Participate in assigned trainings and relay patient safety concerns to other staff. Maintain confidentiality, coordinate projects, and record meeting minutes. Requires a Master's degree in progress in Behavioral Health, Counseling, Social Work, or Human Services.
Required Qualifications
- Must be in process of obtaining a Masters Degree in a Behavioral Health or related field that leads to a career in Counseling, Social Work or Human Services
- Ability to converse in English with others to give, take and process information
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to coordinate projects
- Ability to record and transcribe general and specific meeting minutes
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to communicate with other staff to relay concerns and observations involving patient safety
- Must submit to and pass a substance abuse screen following an offer of employment and prior to reporting to work
