Job Summary
The Clinical Intern at Glenhaven Academy will support the clinical department, participate in clinical meetings, and receive supervision. Responsibilities include documenting clinical charts, facilitating therapy sessions, and assisting students in various settings. A Master’s degree in the mental health field is required, alongside strong communication skills and an interest in child/adolescent clinical work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum working towards a Master’s degree or above in the mental health field (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or LMFT)
- Good written and oral communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment
Additional Requirements
- Cannot take LICSW supervision requirements at this time
- Prioritizing students who can complete either both their practicum and internship at the program or just their internship
- Do not accept practicum-only students due to the level of care we provide
