Job Summary
Clinical Intake Coordinator role overseeing client intake, case management, and administrative tasks with a focus on harm reduction and program development. Responsibilities include supervising unit operations, assessing referrals for admission, managing intake and discharge data entry, networking with referral sources, serving as on-site senior manager Sundays, providing case management for a small caseload, facilitating one group session, contributing to program goals, providing emergency first aid and CPR, submitting daily DHS reports, coordinating with hospitals for referrals, welcoming intakes, conducting orientation and tours, developing initiatives to improve client retention, supporting transition to Safe Haven, overseeing intake packets, assisting with chart audits, and utilizing SOAR for eligible disability-benefits applications. Requires MSW or related Masters, strong organizational and communication skills, data-entry proficiency, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience in residential/homeless services; bilingual Spanish a plus.
Required Qualifications
- MSW or related Masters degree required
- Experience in case management, intake coordination, or program supervision within a social services setting
- Strong understanding of harm reduction and client-centered care approaches
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data entry and report submission, with attention to detail
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
