Clinical Instructor - Surgical Technology

Assign Surgical Technology students to appropriate cases or coordinate placement with the OR Educator/Charge Nurse. Monitor student progress through weekly site visits, conduct individual observations, and complete weekly electronic surveys documenting performance. Provide timely feedback with suggestions for improvement and prepare Clinical Evaluation Forms midway and at the end of rotations. Serve as a role model, advocate for learners, and promote patient safety while maintaining regular communication with the Program Coordinator. Participate in continuing education seminars and attend annual faculty meetings to discuss program goals and educational methodologies.
