Clinical Instructor - ONC Radiation Oncology

Job Summary
Provide physics support to the Radiation Oncology department including patient treatment planning, equipment calibrations, QA and QA measurements, patient dosimetry, development of new procedures, and physician consultation on medical physics matters. Instruct, mentor and train residents and students; supervise and direct physics staff, dosimetrists, therapists, and trainees. Ensure high-quality patient care and safety through established QA/quality measures; maintain documentation for daily, monthly and annual calibration; participate in education/research programs; stay current with ACR and AAPM standards. Requires a PhD in medical physics, physics, or biological sciences and 1 year of medical physics experience (2 years preferred) with instructional experience in medical physics education.
