Job Summary
Clinical inpatient rehab liaisons are responsible for department marketing, sales, and evaluating potential clients for admission to our inpatient rehab facility (IRF). Working closely with leadership, this role will assist with developing business strategies to increase referrals and admissions to the rehab center. Clinical liaisons provide a high level of face-to-face customer service and develop strong relationships with hospital leaders, physicians, discharge planners, and other clinicians both in the community and internal to Sharp. They work to assist hospitals with rehab evaluations in order efficiently determine if clients meet IRF criteria and assist with transfer to next level of care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy OR Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy OR Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology OR Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- 5 years experience in health care industry (rehabilitation preferred)
- California Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) - CA Physical Therapy Board - REQUIRED
- California Occupational Therapist license - CA Board of Occupational Therapy - REQUIRED
- California Speech-Language Pathologist - CA Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board - REQUIRED
- California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing - REQUIRED
- Driver's License - CA Department of Motor Vehicles - REQUIRED
